A total of 18 officers make up the patrol bureau which is lead by Lieutenant Larsen, as well as five Sergeants. Many extra duty assignments in the Patrol Bureau include a Motor Unit, Special Response Team , Field Training Officer, and School Resource Officer . Currently, the Mountain Home Citizens on Patrol has five marked cars equipped with two way radio and top lights. The Mountain View Police Department lobby is now open for police services Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. The lobby will remain closed on weekends, except for services by appointment only. Community members are highly encouraged to make appointments online for certain services, however, walk-in traffic will be accommodated with restrictions.
The MHPD is always accepting applications and interest cards for various positions in the department to include police officers. Interest cards for positions are available in the lobby of the police building and if you fill one out, you will be contacted for scheduling at one of our quarterly testing dates. The School Resource Officer position is an integral part of the Mountain Home Police Department and of the community.
